 Oslo T-bane The metro, or subway, in Oslo is called T-bane. The stations are marked with a capital T in blue on a white background with a blue circle around it. The T-bane connects most of Oslo with it's different lines. All of the lines start in one end of the city, go through the most central areas downtown, and then continue to their own destinations.
There are five different T-bane lines in Oslo:
1. Majorstuen - Frognerseteren
2. Østerås - Ellingsrudåsen
3. Sognsvann - Mortensrud
4. Kolsås - Bergkrystallen
5. Blindern - Storo
The central t-bane stations where all of the lines pass through are:
Majorstuen, Nationaltheatret, Stortinget, Jernbanetorget, Grønland and Tøyen.
