17th of May - the national day of Norway |
If you have the opportunity you should be in Oslo on the 17th of May. It's the national day of Norway, and the most spectacular day of the year.
Everyone put on their nice clothes and head to the streets. All the children and the young people go walking in a big parade up to the royal castle accompanied by musicbands, while the royal family stands on the balcony and greets the parade.
