Sognsvann is a beautiful lake in the north of Oslo. The metro takes you to this big lake, and it's a very popular place.
In the summer people barbeque and go swimming, and in winter you can go skiing and skating. It is also great place for walking or biking in the forest.
On sunny days there can be plenty of people here, but just follow the path around the lake and you can find a quiet place just for yourself.
If you want, you can follow trails into the forest, and find many more and smaller lakes. It's very popular to take your bike and a tent, and go camping in the forest for a few days.
