The National theatre in Oslo was designed by architect Henrik Bull, and opened in September 1899.
All kinds of theatres and plays have been and is performed here. Outside you can see the statues of Henrik Ibsen and Bjornstjerne Bjornson.
The theatre is situated in the heart of Oslo, between Stortinget and the Royal Castle, with many historical and important buildings around.
Located in Johanne Dybwads plass 1, close to Karl Johansgate. Many metros, buses and trams stops close to the theatre.
